| In 1976, Darrel and Mary-Lou Spicer started Stan the Hot Water Man. The decision to focus on only water heaters was based on the desire to create a company that did one thing and did it well. Now the torch has been passed to the second generation with Michael Spicer and his partner Randy Ritmiller.
An important part of our success is our focus training and treating our employees right. Darrel has always said, "Quality starts with your people". You will find our technicians informative, competent and friendly.

Our office is in Gresham, yet we work with our customers in Vancouver to Canby and Hillsboro to Troutdale.
